for anyone looking for a new show to watch: my lady jane. i know you’ve heard about it but PLEASE take the time to actually watch it you won’t regret it. It’s a historical fantasy retelling of the story of the 9 days queen, Jane Grey, where instead of protestants there are ethians (people who turn into animals) and jane doesn’t actually die at the end. it’s angsty, magical, dramatic fun and it just got cancelled so it needs a lot of love. PLEASE!!!!

Prime Video finally released an official teaser for The Wheel of Time Season 3 and it's amazing. From what the teaser shows it looks like some events of The Dragon Reborn and The Shadow Rising are being adapted this season and I can't wait!

I will definitely rewatch season one and season two because that's how much I'm excited about the upcoming season.

Guys, I binge-watched Lockwood & Co. and now I don't know what to do with my life.

I've purchased the book series, and it should be here soon, but I want more of this show so bad!

It has vague (v. vague) Percy Jackson vibes, in that it's a young adult urban fantasy with extremely snarky protagonists, but it's also just so unique.

It's a great concept. (Ghosts that only kids can see, creating a world that necessitates child soldiers and forces children to grow up too fast.) It has great characters (They're all so funny, and somehow the romance of two of the main three doesn't third wheel the other one). It scratches that young adult urban fantasy itch that seems to be really hard to pull off without it feeling contrived or self-aware.

And it is soooooo British. I love it! (Seriously they are always either drinking or talking about tea. Always.) The main romance is cute and respectful and sweet, and NEVER HYPERSEXUALIZED!!!

I love this show so much. So excited for the books to arrive so that I can start reading them. Fingers crossed it gets a season 2!

Everyone is a suspect.

A new video game adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express just released and I prepared a poster for the occasion.

The game transports Hercule Poirot’s investigation to 2023, at the 140th anniversary of the Orient Express. With a new character, Joanne Locke, to assist in the case, the game is said to be a faithful and augmented adaptation with new tricks and tricks beyond the confines of the luxury train.

Finished at last! My new favorite painting to date, and one of my best portraits. I named it after a song lyric, of course, “I am Creation” from the song Creature by Half•Alive.

I’m really glad it turned out so good, and I’m glad I trusted the process, because it certainly had an ugly stage lol.
